For the BBC World Service's Russian language service, we developed a compelling motion graphic aimed at promoting their newsletter campaign, particularly focusing on the critical subject matter of the war in Ukraine.

Given the gravity of the topic, it was crucial that the motion graphic not only captivate the audience but also maintain a tone of solemnity. To achieve this delicate balance, we employed paper textures as a central design element, evoking the essence of traditional journalism and the diligent work behind it.

This choice of visual style effectively communicated the seriousness of the content while engaging viewers. The campaign proved to be a success, resulting in a notable increase in newsletter subscriptions, thereby expanding the reach and impact of the BBC WS's coverage on this pressing global issue.
