The following illustrations are a part of a work in progress for a book by Finola Foreman. The illustrations have been simplified, reflecting what happens in each chapter but holding onto an element of mystery to keep the reader intrigued.

I explored a sketched style before deciding on a design that used a minimal colour palette and strong shapes.
